Renting a room in our guest house

During part of the year, our house is rented as guest rooms.

The estate can always be privatized if you wish, but it is possible to book only one or more bedrooms.

This includes the bedroom, bed linen, sheets and towels. Breakfast is optional, either in classic form or in a full breakfast typical of Lapland, a real meal to gain energy before starting your day of activities.

The Aurore Bedroom

The Aurore Room is located upstairs. It is a large room of 25 sq.m to accommodate 2 people with a private bathroom.

This very quiet room has a large window that overlooks the forest.

The Blue Bedroom

The Blue bedroom is also located upstairs and has 2 single beds. It has its private bathroom with a walk-in shower.

This very bright room overlooks the estate and the forest and has a work space. Perfect for relaxing peacefully between two treks in Lapland.

The Vallko Bedroom

The Valkko Room can accommodate 2 or 3 people. It has 1 double bed and 2 single beds. Its shower room and WC are located on the ground floor of the house.

You have a view of the estate towards the lake far away.

Rent the entire estate

For a family or a group of friends, it is possible to book the entire house and domain.

This is a very cost-saving solution for a stay in Lapland and quite popular with travelers who want to avoid tourist parks and take advantage of good accommodation to enjoy Lapland.

You can rent the house only or take advantage of our services for cleaning, preparing meals, breakfasts and helping you book your activities and accompanying you during your stay.

The Old Halosenranta School

Our accommodation

We are located in Halosenranta, 7 km from the centre of Kemijärvi, 80 km from Rovaniemi International Airport, the area known as the home of Father Christmas himself. From Rovaniemi you have daily bus and train connections to our accommodation.

We've renovated and restored this old school to make it a place for sharing and discovering, for meeting a unique region, for being in true harmony with man and nature; pure air, no noise, no pollution...

The Loft in a Former Gymnasium

We have renovated and fitted out this former school gymnasium as a dormitory with 5 single beds.

This Loft can also be rented independently as it contains its own bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen for meals.

This dormitory is very popular with children when a family or group of friends rents the whole building.

But at certain times of the year, it is also rented out by friends, and we have rented it out in the summer to students visiting Lapland.
