The Vallko Bedroom

This bright room, with 3 windows and a view as far as the lake, guarantees you a cosy, peaceful night's sleep. It is suitable for 2 or 3 people and is on the 2nd floor of our house. The shower room, wc's and sauna are on the ground floor. Come and discover the charm of the surrounding forest, the fresh air of the short but sharp days in winter and the endless hot days in summer, and the magic of the polar nights with, if you're lucky, the aurora borealis visible from your window!

Accommodation

We are located in Halosenranta, 7 km from the centre of Kemijärvi, 80 km from Rovaniemi International Airport, the area known as the home of Father Christmas himself. From Rovaniemi you have daily bus and train connections to our accommodation.

We've renovated and restored this old school to make it a place of exchange and discovery, to meet a unique region, to be in true harmony with man and nature; pure air, no noise, no pollution...
